As you know, I like to buy stocks breaking out of their green line tops (GLB) to an all-time high. On my site you can see the performance of a selection of recent GLB stocks. Here is the latest table:

  1. Dr. Wish,

It seems to me that you use a technical approach to purchase stocks that have a high and growing EPS. The approach is similar to the one that the IBD espouses.

Lately, I have been purchasing stocks (DITM call options actually) that pass and IBD breakout point. How does the GLB breakout compare to a cup-with-handle? What is the advantage that you have found with your GLB methodology.

Thank you for this blog. You have been incredibly helpful for helping me form a (seemingly profitable) trading strategy.
