I’ve been wondering how the GMI would have handled the Black Swan event in Oct. 1987. Do you have a sense of what the GMI signal would have been on that day.
Would have missed it entirely. GMI follows a defined trend.
Would have missed it in the sense that it would have been caught long, or in the sense that it was out of the market and dodged it.
I assume from your answer, especially the part about a trend, that the answer is that latter, but just wanted to make sure.
