GLB: $AMD as it surpasses its peak reached in 2000, after a dizzying ride

Although AMD has been rising since it bottomed 2015, it is noteworthy that AMD had a GLB (green line break-out) on Thursday when it exceeded its all-time high of 48.50 reached in June of 2000 near the top of the internet bull market. People who bought AMD at the top in 2000 had to wait a long time to get their investment back, after some stomach churning declines! Here are AMD’s  daily and monthly charts.

  1. Hi, I was interested in understanding why stocks that recently hit an all time high are favorable for potential investment. Is it not risky in the fact that they may fall back down to previous levels? I am a beginner in the stock market and am interested in learning this, as many stocks are currently making glb’s Thanks!
