Only 2 of these stocks at an ATH on Thursday have doubled from a year ago, RXDX and ENPH. This was a valued criterion used by Nicolas Darvas to select stocks to buy. A stock that has already doubled is more likely to double again. David Ryan and Brad Koteshwar have also mentioned this as a characteristic of a winning stock. CEG is a recent IPO.

  1. How do you get the info to prepare the IBD/MS WATCHLIST and have it show you the ATH list? Thank you very much for everything you do with a blog.

  2. Export the GR250 and/or IBD50 lists from MS into excel. See the wrench icon on MS. Then create a new personal watchlist in TC2000 and copy and paste the symbols from Excel into it. Then unflag everything and then flag all symbols in the new watchlist if you want to keep track of them in other scans. To get current ATH, create a column with a set of conditions. First condition is price new high which is built into TC2000. Set it to monthly and 500 months and occurred within 2 months. Then add a second condition that selects stocks that hit a 60 day high today. (h=maxh60, set to days).
